AAK, a member since 2002 The United Nations Global Compact is an initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. Implementation of Code of Conduct which applies to all of AAK staff began in 2009. Page 10. The Supplier Code of Conduct is an integral part of the approval system for suppliers. During 2013, compliance was 98.4 percent of direct raw material suppliers. Page 13. The Code of Conduct regulates interaction with both customers and suppliers. Page 10.
