Among permanent employees, approximately 11 percent left the company.   The average age of employees in Europe is significantly higher than in the rest of the world due to a more mature organization. 22 percent of AAK’s permanent employees are female. This is a lower percentage than in many other businesses, and is explained by the fact that working in the production plants typically attracts more men than women. At managerial level, 19 percent of employees are female.   71 percent of AAK’s employees are permanently employed, while 9 percent are on temporary contracts. The remaining 20 percent comprise trainees, agency staff and atwill employees.
