OPEN-AIR SWIMMING BATHS From the hotel you can follow the jetty 60 metres out into the water to our open-air swimming baths with panoramic windows overlook-ing the sea, a Japanese outdoor pool and sauna. RESTAURANTS The hotel’s award-winning Restaurang Sand seats 280 guests for culinary meals with sea views and a choice of good wines from our well-stocked wine cabinet. Sands Bakficka in Båstad harbour serves well-cooked light dishes in a nice setting. BÅSTAD TENNIS Hotel Skansen is also known as the ‘tennis hotel’. It is here on the centre court that the tennis world’s elite meet every year for one of the world’s most popular tennis tournaments – the Swedish Open.
