The Renthal Twinring combines a specially enhanced 7075 T6 aluminium alloy centre and an ultra high strength electroless nickel coated steel outer ring. By combining these two materials we have created a chainwheel that is lighter than steel but more durable than the traditional all aluminium chainwheel. The unique flat face design keeps weight to a minimum and prevents fouling on the chain guide. KEY FACTS • Inner ring is high strength, Ultralight™ 7075 T6 Aluminium • Outer ring is electroless nickel coated steel for ultimate durability. • The outer ring is expanded at 200 °C and then fitted over the inner.
