Why does a reflex sight feel so intuitive? The answer lies not just in technology – but in biology. BUILT TO SURVIVE – AND SEE Humans weren’t made to aim – we were made to survive. When faced with a threat, the primal brain takes over, and everything is reduced to a single question: Can I eat it – or can it eat me? A-CUT™ is Aimpoint’s mounting system that integrates the optic directly into the pistol slide. This mechanically locked interface removes the shear forces normally placed on screws in traditional optic mounts. In the A-CUT design, no screws enter the optic housing. For details on available mounts and mounting plates for specific weapon types, see page 52. 21 Optimized for Shotgun Engagements at Close Distance The ACRO P-2 9 MOA is a dedicated configuration of the ACRO platform designed for tactical shotguns that must engage small, fast-moving targets at close range. Its highly visible 9 MOA red dot enables instinctive, rapid target acquisition and provides clear visual feedback when tracking movement. This configuration retains the proven mechanical design of the standard ACRO P-2 but is optimized for the specific demands of short-range engagements. In professional environments, tactical shotguns equipped with the ACRO P-2 9 MOA offer a practical and cost-efficient option for countering small aerial threats, particularly drones that appear suddenly and require immediate action. With suitable ammunition, these platforms deliver reliable performance at 50–60 meters and in some cases out to 100 meters. BALLISTIC ADJUSTABLE MOUNT (BAM) The Aimpoint® Ballistic Adjustable Mount (BAM) is a rugged, ambidextrous quick-detach mount designed for the COMP™ M4 sight and built for professional use. Field-proven with several European NATO forces, the BAM provides built-in ballistic compensation for both 5.56 NATO and 7.62 NATO, allowing operators to aim with the red dot beyond 200 metres without holdovers. Preset range settings cover 5.56 from 200 to 800 metres and 7.62 from 200 to 1000 metres. The COMP™ M4 red dot sight offers unmatched speed and accuracy at close and intermediate distances.
